The Luxembourg jazz scene is just like the small Benelux country: friendly and familiar, but at the same time influential and with a cosmopolitan aura. And that's also the sound of the band "Klein" of the eponymous pianist, keyboardist and drummer Jerome Klein. With Pol Belardi he has a soulmate in his band, who also makes the best of countless influences from jazz, fusion to electronic rock and hiphop to suit his own artistic mission. Drummer Benoit Martiny pulls the same strings. With varied, sometimes almost collage-like rhythm structures and hymn-like, glorious melodic arcs, it's all about nothing less than embracing the world - and making it shake.
