HEILIG KREUZ KIRCHE | CREATIVE QUARTER

The Holy Cross Church is a showpiece of Brick Expressionism in the Ruhr region. Designed in 1927 by the renowned (church) architect Josef Franke, it captivates visitors not only with its exterior appearance but also with its uniquely designed interior, characterized by a parabolic form and its color scheme. From 2018 to 2021, it was converted into an extraordinary event venue. Since early 2022, it has been available as an outstanding venue for entertainment and cultural events.
