Dishwasher_ from Belgium show where the hammer hangs. Louise van den Heuvel carves bass lines like no other. Arno Grootaers on drums pumps the groove into the bloodstream, on which saxophonist Werend Van den Bossche takes off on fantasy-saturated orbits. Any attempt at stylistic classification is met with sheer overwhelming power. Eastern European style solos? Hiphop? Metal? No matter. Whatever sound masses wash through ears and mind here - this young band from the Brussels scene remains blissfully rested and centered. If you are craving for "current music", you can hardly avoid the Belgian scene and its hottest representatives.
