This quartet together with Roger Hanschel (WDR prizewinner and founder of the legendary Cologne Saxophone Mafia), whose playing style and sound culture in itself stands out from the sea of countless saxophonists, is second to none. The "String Things" are among the string pioneers in the field of improvised music and groove in Germany. In addition to jazz, Hanschel's experience with Indian music flows into this project. Romantic, sometimes folkloristic splashes of color in major and minor keys add the finishing touch.
