Over 50 years ago, Krautrock was a somewhat self-deprecating term for a new musical genre that is still very fresh today. The Cologne-based band Foxl is proof of this, with its repetitive pulse and spherical sound textures that get every movie going in your head and sometimes even on the screen. Band founder Rodrigo Lopez Klingenfuss also feels like a fish in water when it comes to jazz and new music. This is audible when the electric bass, synthesizer, drums, electronics and no less than three electric guitars begin their hypnotizing work. You read that right: Foxl's intricately intertwined guitar textures are a feast for string freaks!
