JAZZ BIGBAND GRAZ (JBBG) SMÅL [A]

JBBG Smål rethinks big band: reduced in line-up, maximum in effect. This exceptional ensemble broke the boundaries of the big band sound over 20 years ago as Jazz Bigband Graz. With virtuosity and emotional expressiveness, improvised energy meets jazz, rock and world music - surprising, unconventional and always captivating.
The current project thrives on the collaboration with the Armenian musicians Karen Asatrian and Arto Tunçboyacıyan, who set special accents with their unmistakable sound and innovative rhythms. Cologne guitarist Hanno Busch contributes a rocking energy with powerful sounds.
